I don't blog much since I am in 3 classes that i have to write all the time each week I have at least 2 written things from each class. but here I feel safe in putting some feelings out there on here.
last night we get a text message from Shaina saying her mom is flipping out, I tell her we are on our way to come get them. I get a call from Casey's phone it is Sapphire (Davids middle Child) crying telling me her mom is flipping out. then the phone hangs up. Well we hall butt to Abilene from Clyde, not sure what we are walking into or what is going on. So we get their my daughter Casey is on the crib so mad she is crying. Now understand Casey has a mouth on her; as my father would say that over loads her ass.... (of course she comes by it naturally I have a mouth on me as well). The girls mom went off on Casey and said some really mean things about me and David. Needless to say while she, the girls mom, was going off she was in Casey's face (something Casey hates) yelling at her, calling me and her all kinds of names Casey said the girls mom drew back like she was going to hit Casey and Casey was all to waiting for that. But instead she made Casey leave. Which in the end was better. I got to talk to Casey about how to handle people talking like that. it is only words they hurt that is for sure but words of someone like that does not make you who you are or who you are going to be. But Casey was still pissed about all the mean and hateful things the girls mom said about me. Casey told me, "Mom I am not stuipd I remember all the crap you and David went though with her," she said that she also remembered at the beginning david and I were just friends two people with crazy ex's getting a divorce. Mine personally was further along then his was. Anyways back to last night...
So waiting outside the girls moms house for 2 hours waiting on Shaina to come out. ( i did text every so often to make sure she was okay) They were talking she said. Grandpa and the girls and their mom. All I could do is pray God would cover there ears to all the manipulation the 2 adults were vomiting out of there mouths. Also Sapphire has been staying in this little house for like 2 months alone. her mom shows up every so often to get clothes or something. Sapphire can do what ever she wants there is no parental subdivision.
After we got home I talked to Casey a bit and David talked to Shaina.
David told Shaina he was sorry he was not strong enough to stay in that situation to protect them, he was sorry they had to go though all this crap they should have never seen or heard. And that if she needs to talk we are here. He was not going to push this issue with her. I think she feels better. Sapphire on the other hand she does not want to live with her mom, dad, grandpa, or grandma. She is so tired of all the drama from all sides she is staying with some friends for a few days to "figure things out"
The sad thing is Sapphire is the most hurt in all this story from the beginning she has been effected the most. Sapphire has a strong will she has her senior year she is looking for work she wants out. Sapphire has cared for her mom for years now the manipulation her mom gives her that her mom needs her to help care for her since she is "sick" (uncontrolled diabetic-). Sapphire has her own health issues she needs to worry about. but you know MOM needs to worry more about her daughters health rather than running around town with the new boyfriend.
I actually agree with Sapphire I think if I was 17, I would continue and get my High School Diploma and I would get the heck out of Dodge. I can say at least these girls have not gone and turned there attention to boys they have put there heads into books and they know to get out of where they are at they need to get an education.
Guess in everything you have to see the light in a dark situation.
I do hate Drama... it is horrible and only the kids get hurt when you as a parent act a fool... this women has acted a fool for 8 years that i know of. She thinks we are to blame, I don't even get that how can I be to blame for her acting like a fool, not caring for her children. She started it 8 years or so ago when she kicked David out and he was living with his friend from work Frank. She would hold those kids over Davids head tell him all kinds of crap. She would not let him see them for long periods of time.
You know we forgave and spoke blessing over her along ago and I know now I have to stand back and pray for her. Pray that someone sees she needs help Pray that God would show her that she is in need of some medicine she is very bipolar.

Well I completed my Economics text last night I passed it which brought my average to 71.75 out of 100 points. I am very happy. Tomorrow I take my Advance Excel test and my Math. Which I have to make a 60 on the math to pass the class. I know by the grace of God I can do that. Excel I am not to worried about it.
I have summer and fall then I am done with school. I am so super excited on finishing. This is such a big accomplishment for me as an adult to complete such a big task.
I am worried about my daughter Casey she has no drive she hates being at home, she does not have any drive to find a job get her drivers licence. Nothing. I am praying about what to do. I pray that God lights a fire under neath her.
Well I guess I will write more later.

so last week I looked back and I was 294... THIS WEEK 292 WOW... Thank you JESUS I said. I have not exercised this week at all I have actually sat at this computer and did home work. But I have cut down on my food intake and I drink un-sweet TEA and no soda...
WOW... what cutting your food intake and no sodas will do for you. I feel better knowing that I am losing but I know I would feel even better if I was exercising.

So this week I am PROUD TO SAY, David and I paid off 2 monthly bills totaling about $1,300. I am so excited about that...

Week 2 Weigh in

Well I am disappointed this week I went from 294 to 295. I did eat right some maybe a little more than I should of, and I did not take the time to exercise. So this was a stumbling week but this week I hope will be better. I know that there will be good weeks and bad.
I thought if I could lose 2 pounds a week I could lose 100 pounds in a year...
Sounds Really Good to me...

Okay I have searched the web over I knew there was a place that you could go to and get your credit report with out giving your credit card number... HERE IT IS...

IT will not effect your credit report for you to get it. I think it is important for you to take a look at your credit report just incase someone did not put something on there that should not be there.

well this is Jan 11th I weighted in this morning 294 so I am down 2 punds in one week. I did not expect 2 pounds since I have not exerised like I have wanted to. But I am not having any sugar or sodas... YEAH for me...

Also today school starts. I have 4 huge classes this semester so I may not be blogging except on MOnday nights when I do my weigh in.

Monday 1/3/10 THE WEIGH IN

Well this is it... I told you guys that I would let you know what I weigh at the beginning of this year so the weigh in today is 296.4... It has taken me all day to type this out to put that number on paper for the world to see. But I feel better now. I am not sure if it is because I don't think many people if any one at all reads this or what but none the less there it is 296.4. So I will weigh again Next Monday.

OMG! I just realized this morning that classes for me start back on MONDAY 1/11/10. I have to go get my books on Thursday, I am excited about that but I am a little nervous in going back to school not sure why... But I want all A's and B's this semester. I want at least a B In Algebra.

I have been searching out in the natural how to lose weight and how to pay off debt, truth is guys we cannot do it alone. I realized today when we were at church; Scott Beard (Fountain Gate) was telling us the prophetic word he felt God was giving Fountain Gate for 2010. I know this is not 100% of what Scott said BUT I heard unusual favor I did hear him say unusual blessing and unusual family RESTORATION… So when I hear the word unusual I think not like I have seen before and that is what Scott said the blessing, favor and restoration is not going to be like any we have seen before. OMG!!! I got so pumped up… I do believe that is how all of this will get done THIS YEAR...
THEN he hit me like a ROCK I mean stopped me dead in my happy place and gave us the scripture of Deuteronomy 28 OMG really… Please let me allow you guys to read it…

1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: 3 you will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. 4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. 5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. 6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

There are areas of our life that we are not fully obeying God.(Scott was talking right to me and he did not even know it..) So if I want the blessing God says right here that he will give us we have to obey him in all things. Something that I have been struggling with this whole year about what church we are going to make our home and tithing. I have really felt bad about not tithing this year. But there are some choices we have to make about a home church I am sure this month we will make that choice.
Also Pastor Scott, during Church, said he felt we were to do a church wide 21 day fast starting Monday... He said that it did not have to be a full fast (no food) but something like sugar (which was Scott's) face book, text, sodas.... So at lunch today David, Casey and I all decided that for 21 days we are going to go without sweets, soda and sugar.. Then on Sunday we will put ALL technology things away phone, computer, TV and just be together. Which sounds easy but I know it will be hard. So after this fast none of us should want SUGAR... LOL (I HOPE). Well I know you are suppose to go into a fast with a purpose, so our purpose is first and foremost to get closer to God we have not been praying or really anything like we should be this past year 2009 and it feels it and shows it in our thinking and acting.
So starting Monday David and I are going to do an AcaiTrim Cleans (which I have heard you need to do a cleans before you start a diet) and every night we are going to do wii fit. I will weigh myself every Monday. Every Monday evening I will let you all know how I am doing. This is Very big for me since I don’t like for everyone to know what I weigh I would rather you know how bad our money is…. There are so many diet plans, pills, this and that’s out there. David and I have chosen to cut our food intake in half, no sodas (part of our fast) and do the wii fit plus game. We do want bikes but that is an expense we cannot afford right now.
Honestly I would love for you guys whom take the time to read my blog to just pray for us. If you have a word for us PLEASE leave a comment. I tell you as many of you know this already that weight loss and debt reduction is not easy and I am one that I like people to tell me I am doing a good job.

I do believe 2010 is David and My year to have that unusual favor unusual blessing and total relationship restoration... We just have to get back to putting God first in everything we do and OBEY him... My eyes have been so open today soaking in all of what Scott said today with what David and I want to accomplish this year. Now there was allot more Pastor Scott said today I would encourage you all to go to the website of the church and listen to the podcast. I know I heard what I needed to hear today... Scott Beard thank you so much for the message today…

I will say like Becky did this is VERY HONEST... I hope you who read this will pray for Dave and I this coming year....
I want to thank Becky for her putting her financial stuff out and be open everybody to read about. She has inspired me to do the same. This year David and I want to cut our debit and lose weight. Two big things that most of America says they are going to do.
So I ask myself really why do we say a general statement like I want to lose weight or I want to get out of debit but some people, LIKE ME, don’t want to tell you what I weigh or how much in debit we are? I think it is important if you want to lose weight or get out of debit or what ever your "thing is" this year, it is better to be totally open and honest with it. If you are open with other people then it does something within you to complete the task. When you just don’t say anything it is very easy to just set it down. I am tired of telling David we are going to do this and then by the end of January it is long forgot about.
So lets take debit first. I think so many times people don't want to talk about the dollar figure of their debt up because they're embarrassed, but also I think people don't want to put a dollar figure out for everybody to see is that it holds them accountable. So here the Garcia house Debt is out in the open and I will let you guys know when things are paid off.
$30,000 student loans for us (not paying)
$9,000 car ($350 month)
$28,000 for the house ($356 month)
$800 for Lowe's the washer and dryer ($100 monht)
$700 credit card (not paying)
$600 personal loan ($105 monthly)
$304 Casey's flute ($32 month)

WOW just looking at that… how do we get in the crazy debt? Because we are not taught about debt and how to manage our money. My parents use to tell me that if I wanted to go out and buy something I deserve it and just don’t pay a bill and go do it. Well needless to say I have done that in my life that is why I have bad credit. NO MORE….
For me I think my weight bothers me more than the money issues we have. I weigh 298 right now and I want to weigh under 200! So I have read tons of stuff about weight loss and what to do and what not to do. It is all so confusing to me sometimes. There are so many diet books plans programs. You could spend a small fortune and as you all know I want NOT to spend money… SO if any of you have weight loss stuff books CD, DVD that you have used that you think will help me let me know I would love to borrow them. I have a wii FIT PLUS now and I am going to get up everymorning and use it. I know the key to weight loss is get moving and don’t eat as much…
So Pray for us in the coming year this is something in the for front of David and I’s mind all year. This is something that I want to change my mind and my habits from now on about money and weight loss.
So 2010 here we come…

2009 Update and Christmas 2009

WoW it has been ALONG time since I last blogged. Well alot has been going on... I will fill you in. I started classes at TSTC all online I like that real well. The first semester ended December 11th and I got 2 A's (Business class and Critital thinking classes) 2 B's (Reading and Writing) and 1 C (Algebra) I hate math... I was actually one point away from a B in algebra but OH WELL... Good grades non the less and they are better than I made in High School maybe it has something to do with me PAYING for all these classes... Well I have really enjoyed going back to school; I do want to finish what I first started several years ago.

Lets see David's girls went back home to live with their Mom in August. It was sad for me but I had rules and they had chores and they did not like that so they went to live where they could be the boss. Maybe one day they will realize lazyness gets them NO ever FAST...

Casey is doing good she is growing up so fast. her birthday 3/23/ in 2010 she will be 17. FOUR months and she will be 17... Makes me almost want to start over. HAHA Tubes tied.. :)

David and I are doing way better than we were in the summer. Stress and Depression over took me and I took off. But with God is healing me with each day, I am learning more about my self and how to serve my husband.. And YES to me it is hard to serve my husband. WHY I dont know but it has been hard, but I am learning...

So Christmas is around the corner well actually it is like next week. WoW... Well about Christmas I got mad at my parents long story just down right dumb but anyways I told them if they wanted Christmas that they could come to my house on Christmas Eve and have dinner and do gifts, and that I am COOKING EVERYTHING>... SO they agreed... Then it dawned on me I HAVE NEVER COOKED A TURKEY OR DRESSING... OR A HAM... and I told David I wanted to do the whole dinner that I did not want his help in cooking, I wanted to make it special, all from me from the heart... So I have been online checking out all kinds of recipes and I think I will be fine... I have almost everything I need for dinner I just lack a few things that I will go get this weekend and then NO MORE SHOPPING for me... :) I am so excited about cooking this year. I always wanted to start our own Garcia Family Tradition... So 2009 is it...

I hope you all get what you want for Christmas... David and my Christmas is a new sewer system in January sometime... That is all I can ask for this year so I am glad we will be able to do that.

Well it is almost here the double birthday party for KC and Sapphire. I have searched the internet for party ideas, decorations, combining colors.... the one CAKE... There is still lots of work to be done set up and clean up.... I am so glad that Julie, Dana and Kim are going to come and help me set up. I am scared and excited about this cake... It is coming all the way from Brownwood..I will take lots of pictures for those of you in whom do notget to come.

If you guys want to come it is 28th KLF Downtown.. it is a dance... cake and food will be served. So come...

Smaller Big Country? Many area counties losing population

Population in most area counties has decreased by nearly 6,000 people between 2000 and 2008, according to figures released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Notable exceptions include Taylor, Brown, Callahan and Erath counties, where population increased. Of those four, Erath County, at 8.7 percent, was the fastest growing county. Callahan County, at 4.9 percent, was also a growing county in the Big Country. Brown County was next with an increase of 1.9 percent, followed by Taylor County with an increase of .2 percent.

This is so awesome people are moving to Callahan county...
